#24: SPIDERS

spider3.jpg (13356 bytes)

Who isn't scared of spiders?  I think more people are scared of spiders than any other thing in the world, including Jm J. Bullock.  I've got a lot more to write about this, soon, but in the meantime, enjoy these scary spider pics.

To you naysayers out there... THEY ARE MONSTERS!  And I won't rest until they're all dead.   Each and every one of them.

DEAD DEAD DEAD!

What really pisses me off is that it's always the man's job to kill a spider.  Any woman in the world will shriek when she sees one of these demons and say, "KILL THAT SPIDER!"  As if they're any less creepier to me!

When Peter was with the rest of The Brady Bunch in Hawaii and woke up with that tarantula crawling on his chest, it was the SCARIEST thing I had seen on TV.  And if you want to see a truly scary spider scene, how about the voodoo "reality pic" The Serpent And The Rainbow" where Bill Pullman is buried alive, and a big hairy spider is dropped on his face right before they close the coffin.  Holy shit, that's just the worst thing I can think of!  I always hate them.  Damn all Spiders, DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!

If I could press a button and get rid of every spider in the world, I would.  I know that folks say, "Well if it weren't for spiders, we'd be up to our necks in flies!"  Well, at least flies don't scare the hell out of me!

There's no other animal in the world (or bug, if you must) that inspires such an urge to KILL (save Rosie O'Donnell) like spiders do.  Even snakes make you just want to run away...Spiders just trigger that murder switch inside of us that makes us want to splat them into oblivion.

Someday, we'll all be Spider-Free, but until then, keep on killing those 8 legged bastards!

Bizarro Shopping Zone

I highly recommend this great paperback collection of Bizarro stories from Amazon, at $3 off the cover price for $11.95 .  I bought it a year ago and have read it several times already, it's great laugh out loud comedy that hasn't been in comic books for decades.  And the Jaime "Love and Rockets" Hernandez cover is an added treat!
