#86: C.H.U.D.

Well one thing is clear, Leonard Maltin doesn't like C.H.U.D.

C.H.U.D. is a tough movie to write about, mostly because I hate typing those periods inbetween the letters.  But the name alone is what makes it so cool.  I mean "Cannibalistic" is scary enough on its own, as is the word "Humanoid", but when you throw "Underground Dwellers" on top of that...man, that's a recipe for monster success.

Homeless people are annoying enough, let's face it, but when you mutate them with radioactive waste and make them into rampaging zombies, you know they're gonna be a real problem.

Granted there's not much to say about these crazy CHUDS, but they did spawn a funny titled sequel "C.H.U.D. II: BUD THE CHUD", and there was an immensely pleasing scene in the first film where a CHUD eats some old lady's poodle.

So for even ridding the world of one poodle, CHUD deserves to be on this list!
