Though I've never been the most avid fan of the Transformers cartoon, I have always enjoyed the Starscream character.  Hell, I even wrote a poem about Starscream 3 years ago (my how time flies) for X-E that was accepted to the International Library of Poetry! Starscream had the coolest voice, too.  Chris Latta (sadly died in 1994) gave him a great screechy vocal style that was sinister and hilarious at the same time.  (You may have also heard Latta's work in GI JOE as the inimitable Cobra Commander).

Its a wonderful toy that comes in a nice display box with a velcro'd door that makes him easy to show off if you're one of those freaks that doesn't like to open your toys.  What makes this Starscream unique is that unlike previous versions of the toy, he sports the original colors from the cartoon, if that matters to you.

By the way, for those few people who've never visited X-E before, its a great pop culture site with a bit more of an 80s bent to it that I cut my teeth on before coming here.  Good ol' Matt, who runs the site, has written some fine Transformers articles through the years that are worth a look.  He's reviewed the Transformers Movie, done an Autobot Blaster Tribute, and the classic Don't Mess With Megatron, among others.
