JEAN HARLOW

Jean Harlow is one of those beauties that you just can't imagine in a color photo.  Born in 1911 and dying only 26 years later in 1937, Harlow vanished long before anyone even heard of Marilyn Monroe.  After landing numerous bit parts, she got her big break when Howard Hughes cast her in HELL'S ANGELS.  Her contract was then sold to another studio for a then staggering $60,000, and went on to make 7 more hit films like PLATINUM BLONDE and BOMBSHELL.  While filming SARATOGA, she died unexpectedly from uremic poisoning (which is related to kidney failure), and her parts in the film were finished using long shots.  Nearly 70 years after her death, she remains one of the most dazzling blonde bombshells to ever be featured on screen.  Enjoy this gallery!
