I just find his stuff to be mostly humorless (is sardonic glee for the suffering of others actually humor?), overly misanthropic and devoid of soul. He's obviously a very talented artist, that's why I'm puzzled as to why I never connected with his work, seeing as I'm such a fan of much of the same stuff he is.
